I am a self taught oil painter, and whilst I have painted as a hobby for many years, recent retirement has allowed me time to develop and change my brush and palette knife marks.
I like strong colours and texture and in my paintings I like to demonstrate the source of light. I am a member of Dundonald Art Club and regularly sketch and paint with their Plein Air group. My subject matter comprises mainly still life, landscape and animals.
