Susie Calvert

Originally from Northern Ireland, Susie Calvert now currently lives and works by the sea in Brighton. Using her ever-changing surroundings as inspiration she creates connections between nature and industry in her detailed landscapes. Drawing directly from observation she depicts scenes of botanical beauty as well as the ordinary day-to-day scenes in her life. Susie graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, London in 2013 where she developed her love of Illustration and storytelling through her painting. She continues to draw everyday as she explores new materials and redefines the environment around her.
