Get on yer bike!

With the last stage of the Tour de France this weekend I am almost inspired to hop on my bike and head for the hills! Racing down hill looks like great craic.
Up hill?! ARE YOU HAVIN' A LAUGH'?! Even as a kid I recall riding down a hill, getting off at the bottom, then walking my bike back up to the top to do it again. And again, and again. I spent entire Summers in this fashion...it would NOT have occurred to me to stay on the saddle and ride back up.
So fair play to you lot out there with those thighs of steel who don the lycra, clip onto your peddles and boldly brave the ascent!
This blog is dedicated to you.

So you might never win a Yellow Jersey on the Tour, but you CAN get one in the kitchen.

I'm not sure you would make it too far on the Tour with a bike like this, but damn you'll look fine on the city streets...
