2 Weeks until the new BFG film comes out!

To say I am a tad excited is a bit of an understatement. The trailer looks spectacular! I hope Spielberg does Roald Dahl's magical story justice.

The Big Friendly Giant was published in 1982 when Roald Dahl was 66. And you will be familiar with the dream catching giant and the little orphan Sophie...but did you know that the BFG actually first appeared years earlier, in 1975, in Danny Champion of the World?  I didn't know that either!

This is also the 100 year anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth. And to mark the occasion, a special limited edition collector's print has been released featuring all of Roald Dahl's Characters.  It is a small run of 595 featuring a hand embossed foil Roald Dahl 100 logo:

What a gorgeous quote.
