'Middle Earth, Audley's Castle, Strangford' is an open edition photographic print by Andy Gibson.

This is a dark and moody image of Audley's castle,s named after the an Anglo-Norman family who held land in the area in the 13th century. In 1646 it was sold, with the surrounding estate, to the Ward family and is an eye-catching feature along Castle Ward's artificial lake.

Audley's Field has been used several times used as a filming location in HBO's epic series Game of Thrones. In Season 1 as King Robert Baratheon arrives at Winterfell. It's the backdrop of Robb's Camp in Season 2 and later where Alton Lannister and Jaime Lannister are imprisoned together.

The photograph is printed on high quality Fuji crystal photographic paper.

The image is available in two sizes – 30x40, 40x50, framed or unframed.

Framing Details:  Frame available in black or white.  Please specify colour preference in comments box at checkout otherwise black will be sent out as standard.

30 x 40cm: Framed with glass.  

40 x 50cm: To avoid the disappointment of broken glass in the post, we glaze this size with shatter resistant plexiglass. Click & Collect will contain glass.
