Camping Out Artist Proof

'Camping Out' is a signed, limited edition, giclee print of 195 by author and illustrator Shirley Hughes, the creator of the much loved "Alfie" children's books. This print was published in 2006 by Aquarelle in celebration of 25 years of Alfie 1981-2006 by Shirley Hughes.

Each illustration is beautifully presented in an attractive off-white double mount complete with Artist Information, Certificate of Authenticity and is individually hand signed, numbered and hand embossed as an authentication of quality. There are 195 in this edition which is printed on 300 gsm fine art archival paper.

This particular print is an Artist Proof (AP). There are 20 AP's from this signed limited edition of 195, but only 14 are available for sale after artist’s, author’s and agent’s complimentary copies. The AP’s are numbered AP 1/20, AP 2/20, etc.

Frame Details: We use sustainable wooden frames and glass, not fibreboard and acrylic which typically you find in 'off the shelf' frames. Unlike acrylic, glass does not lose its clarity over time and can be easily and safely cleaned. We have been successfully shipping ready to hang frames containing glass since we opened in 2005.

Packaging Details: We go to great lengths to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. We only use sturdy cardboard postal tubes and double walled cardboard boxes. We use as much recycled and recyclable material as possible, including newspapers from our coffee shop, Coffee Yard, to pack our boxes.
