Nan Lawson

Nan Lawson is a self-taught illustrator living and working in Los Angeles where she lives with her husband and two chubby cats. Before focusing on her art she was a full time temp at a major television station in Los Angeles. In 2008 Nan opened an online shop as a creative outlet and six months after that decided to be an artist full time. She hasn't looked back since! 

Nan is known for her pop culture portraits and distinct style and use of colour. She also illustrates book covers, magazine articles, creates logos, and she takes part in several group gallery shows on a monthly basis. She draws quirky and nerdy things and characters, which are often inspired by hipsters, cult television shows, and desserts. The collection consists of open edition digital illustrative prints which are printed on matte photo paper.
