Ireland Co Antrim - Greenisland Viaduct

The original travel poster was printed circa 1934 from a painting by Norman Wilkinson for L.M.S. Railway company. The image is of the viaduct on the Greenisland Loop Line outside Belfast. These posters are reproductions of original vintage posters printed on high quality Fuji crystal photographic paper.

The image is available in three paper sizes – 40x30 cm, 70x50 cm or 100x70 cm. 

If you choose the 70x50cm framed option, you have the choice if you would like your poster dry mounted. This includes sticking your poster to a backboard. Heat and moisture in a home environment can cause larger paper prints/posters to ripple. The dry mounting process, although slightly more expensive, involves sticking the print/poster onto mount board to prevent this. We would recommend this option.

If you select the 100x70cm framed option the print will be stuck down on a backboard as standard to avoid unsightly ripples - it does add to the cost but we believe it is worth it. This is included in the price shown above. Please allow an extra 4/5 working days for this option.

Frame Details: We only use sustainable wooden frames and glass, not fibreboard and acrylic which typically you find in 'off the shelf' frames. Unlike acrylic, glass does not lose its clarity over time and can be easily and safely cleaned. We have been successfully shipping ready to hang frames, containing glass, since we opened in 2005.

Packaging Details: We go to great lengths to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. We only use sturdy cardboard postal tubes and double walled cardboard boxes. We use as much recycled and recyclable material as possible, including newspapers from our coffee shop, Coffee Yard, to pack our boxes.
