An Introduction To Oil Painting With Harry Foy (3 Part Course) Nov 2026

New to Yard Gallery! 3 hr progression painting classes over 3 weeks, suited for all levels of ability.  All materials are provided and you will leave with your own painted artwork.

Join County Down artist Harry for a relaxed and enjoyable three-week oil painting course at Yard Gallery. With just four places available, this small group course offers plenty of individual attention and the opportunity to develop your painting skills at your own pace.

Harry is a self-taught oil painter whose work is inspired by the landscapes of County Down, Donegal and beyond. He has a particular love of colour and composition, finding beauty in everyday scenes and bringing them to life through paint.

Over three, three-hour sessions, Harry will guide you through the process of creating your own landscape painting, from the initial composition to the finishing touches. Working from the same reference material, Harry will demonstrate each stage and offer individual guidance along the way.

Perfect for complete beginners, those trying oils for the first time, or anyone looking to return to painting and refresh their skills.
