'Along The Atlantic Edge' is a signed, limited edition print by Kathryn Callaghan.

This limited edition print is supplied in a clear cellophane bag with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is numbered, titled and signed by Kathryn in pencil under the image.

With Along the Atlantic Edge, my intention was to celebrate our universal pull toward water. Whether you surf, swim, paddle, or simply stand at the shoreline and breathe it in, the ocean has a way of clearing the noise. It asks you to be present. It gives you that sharp, bright feeling of aliveness that only salt air and open horizon can bring.

At the heart of the piece is togetherness. Surfing can be solitary once you’re out beyond the break, but the ritual of going in is often shared: friends meeting at a car park, tugging on wetsuits, swapping nods and encouragement, and then heading out side by side. It’s a place where people come to move their bodies, feel the wind in their hair, and find freedom from the stresses of daily life… even for a single set of waves.

Kathryn's work is created using a mix of ink and gel. She applies the medium in a freestyle approach, often with no pencil marks as guidelines, which adds a unique sense of life and movement to the subject matter.
