'Bramble Artist Proof' is a limited edition Giclee print of 145, from the book 'The Lost Words', signed by both the author Robert Macfarlane and illustrator Jackie Morris. Printed on 315gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper the print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is held in a white double mount.

All 145 prints and the Artist's Proofs (AP) from this signed limited edition are presented as above. There are 15 AP's for this image, but only 9 are available for sale after artist’s, author’s and agent’s complimentary copies. The AP’s are produced exactly as the premium editions, but are numbered AP1 /15, AP2 /15, etc.

The Lost Words is a very special illustrated collection of spell-poems to re-wild the language of children. All over the country, there are words disappearing from children's lives. These are the words of the natural world - Dandelion, Otter, Bramble and Acorn, all gone. The rich landscape of wild imagination and wild play is rapidly fading from our children's minds. The Lost Words is a unique collaborative project between award-winning author Robert Macfarlane, and acclaimed artist and author Jackie Morris. It stands against the disappearance of wild childhood. It is a joyful celebration of nature words and the natural world they invoke. Frame Details: We use sustainable wooden frames and glass, not fibreboard and acrylic which typically you find in 'off the shelf' frames. Unlike acrylic, glass does not lose its clarity over time and can be easily and safely cleaned. We have been successfully shipping ready to hang frames containing glass since we opened in 2005.

Packaging Details: We go to great lengths to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. We only use sturdy cardboard postal tubes and double walled cardboard boxes. We use as much recycled and recyclable material as possible, including newspapers from our coffee shop, Coffee Yard, to pack our boxes.
