Ireland Other - Southern Ireland

Travel poster showing a view of a lake with mountains in the background. Artwork by Jack Merriott.

The original travel poster was printed from a painting by Jack Merriott for British Railways (BR) Western Region (WR), promoting rail and sea travel to the Republic of Ireland. These posters are reproductions of original vintage posters printed on high quality Fuji crystal photographic paper.

If you select the 70x100cm framed option the print will be stuck down on a backboard to avoid unsightly ripples - it does add to the cost but we believe it is worth it. This is included in the price shown above. Please allow an extra 4/5 working days for this option.

Frame Details: We only use sustainable wooden frames and glass, not fibreboard and acrylic which typically you find in 'off the shelf' frames. Unlike acrylic, glass does not lose its clarity over time and can be easily and safely cleaned. We have been successfully shipping ready to hang frames, containing glass, since we opened in 2005.

Packaging Details: We go to great lengths to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. We only use sturdy cardboard postal tubes and double walled cardboard boxes. We use as much recycled and recyclable material as possible, including newspapers from our coffee shop, Coffee Yard, to pack our boxes.

Delivery Details: Unframed prints come in a tube. Place your order by 3pm for same day dispatch. Next day delivery is available at checkout. For full delivery information, including cost, click the ‘Delivery Information’ link above.
