'Sharing' is a signed encaustic monoprint by Margaret Arthur. This monoprint is from a series of three which includes 'Heads Together' and 'The Chalice'. Margaret’s work incorporates monoprinting and etching techniques with Japanese and Chinese paper layered on top (using a process called chine collé). She has also combined beeswax with her prints to essentially produce encaustic paintings. The use of encaustic goes back to Greek and Roman times and gives a luminous and permanent quality to the painted or printed surface.

This piece comes complete in a natural oak frame.

Packaging Details: We go to great lengths to ensure that your purchase arrives in perfect condition. We only use sturdy cardboard postal tubes and double walled cardboard boxes. We use as much recycled and recyclable material as possible, including newspapers from our coffee shop, Coffee Yard, to pack our boxes.
