Howard Ross

For the past 12 years I have been working in oils. This medium has allowed me to reflect in my work, my love of colour, light and brush marks. More recently I have found inspiration in depicting city life – the study of people, their interaction with each other and their surrounding environment. I am enjoying the challenge of representing the hectic chaos of urban living with representative brush marks that both simplify and understate the bustle of city life.
