Alison McIlkenny

I am an artist based in Moira, Co. Armagh. I specialise in oil paints although I occasionally use other mediums of choice. I am drawn to paint nature subjects including wild flowers which I love. My aim is to capture the essence and raw beauty of the subject I am painting, I hope that people will enjoy my work and feel a connection to it.

I spent over 10 years working as a jewellery artist specialising in precious metal clay before falling back to my first love, painting. I am a natural self taught artist although I have had professional mentoring in the past.
