Kate has a French degree and teaching background and a life-long passion for art. As a self-taught acrylic and mixed media artist with a painterly style, her desire is to capture on canvas the beauty of what she sees in the world around her.
She focuses mainly on land, sea and sky and its everchanging moods and can often be seen with sketchbook and camera in hand looking for inspiration near her home in Belfast.
Her work is intuitive, characterized by unique scratches, markings and layers of paint.
