Lynda Brown

Lynda graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts with First Class Honours in Contemporary Applied Arts. She then returned home to Banbridge Co. Down and set up 'Lynda B', a line of hand made functional and decorative porcelain ceramics. "Textiles, buttons and fastenings have always fascinated me. I love soft, delicate fabrics, the folds, creases, textures, how light passes through them and the shadows they create. This combined with my admiration for nature, in particular pebbles and shells, has resulted in a range of decorative and functional porcelain forms. Each piece is handbuilt resulting in individual forms with their own little quirks and personalities." Please note: Due to their organic design uneven colouring may occur. Please take care if placing piece on a polished surface to avoid scratching!
