Maria Briege Liddy
Maria enjoyed drawing and painting from a very early age. She studied A Level Art and went on to complete the Foundation Course in Art & Design in The University of Ulster, Belfast. She attended Manchester School of Art and obtained an Honours Degree in Design & Art Direction, and subsequently pursued a career as a Graphic Designer.
Maria works primarily in oils, acrylics and mixed media, using a variety of techniques to convey the elements. Her work is inspired by the beauty of the landscape and music. A piece of music or song can inspire a feeling or place that she feels drawn to capture visually. Her work is mainly directed by colour above all else and an aim to put her personality on the canvas.
