After a successful career in Design, Art direction and as an award winning Creative and commercials director, I have finally put paint to canvas. I’ve found that no matter what visual medium you work in, to make it successful and appeal to the audience, the three C’s are crucial - Composition. Colour. Creativity.
Composition frames the message. Colour expresses the mood. Creativity is essential to keeping everything fresh. I try not to be tied down to a single style when painting and I’m pleased to say this works for me. After a career involving everyday variety, it’s very pleasing and satisfying to bring this aspect to my paintings.
