Tanya Vacarda
Tanya Vacarda is an interior surface designer, based in Holywood. She works with decorative and Venetian plasters to create unique colour and texture effects for interior finishes. Recently, she began exploring artistic dimension of this decorative media. Tanya creates elegant art compositions by adding delicate natural herbs and flowers to seemingly harsh urban materials, such as concrete and polished plasters.
In the past couple of years, Tanya worked on interior projects in Nepal, Mozambique and Belfast. In 2017 her work and style were recognised by Remodelista, an influential USA magazine, receiving the Best Considered Design in the UK award.
